Job Description

Every parcel scanned, every drop confirmed: that is the job at a motor spares shop in Midrand. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

You'll be based at a motor spares shop in Midrand. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

The work, day to day

Scan parcels on delivery and take a photo or signature
Phone customers when the address is hard to find
Keep your vehicle or bike clean and report faults
Fill up the vehicle and keep fuel slips for the logbook
Load parcels in route order from the depot scanning area
Follow the delivery app for route and stop order

You'll need

At least 1 year of driving experience
Valid Code 8 (B) licence, or A licence for motorbike roles
Able to work Saturdays
Good sense of direction and map reading
Clean driving record and no criminal record
Polite with customers at the door

Extra points for

Knowledge of the city's industrial areas
PrDP for staff shuttle posts
Previous courier or last-mile experience
