Job Description

Customers phone this telecoms support centre in Pinetown when something has gone wrong, and your job is to put it right. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

This post is in Pinetown (KwaZulu-Natal). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

What you'll actually do

Troubleshoot routers, fibre connections and app logins step by step.
Log every interaction and outcome in the CRM before taking the next call.
Handle callers with UK, US or Australian accents and time zones.
Attend team huddles and weekly coaching sessions on call recordings.
Answer inbound calls within target and greet callers using the approved script.

What you need

Able to pass a voice and accent assessment
No criminal record, as most clients run a background check
Basic computer skills: Windows, email and working across a few screens
You stay calm when a caller is angry

Helpful, not essential

A second language, especially Afrikaans, isiZulu or Portuguese
Previous contact centre or retail customer service experience
