Job Description

Build the SQL, models and dashboards that run the weekly meeting at a healthcare administrator in Montague Gardens. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

Home base is a healthcare administrator on the Montague Gardens side of Western Cape.

The work, day to day

Meet business users to turn their questions into report requirements
Build simple forecasting and segmentation models in Python or R
Keep a data dictionary so everyone uses the same definitions
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and data models
Write SQL to pull, join and clean data from several sources

Must-haves

Careful with sensitive customer data
At least 2 years in a data or reporting role (not needed for graduate posts)
Degree in statistics, maths, computer science, economics or a related field
Advanced Excel
Strong SQL, including joins, window functions and CTEs
Able to explain what the numbers mean, not just show them

Nice if you have

Microsoft PL-300 Power BI Data Analyst certification
Industry knowledge in retail, insurance or credit
