Job Description

You'll help walk-in customers at a mall cellular store in Newcastle, face to face, all day. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

This post is in Newcastle (KwaZulu-Natal). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

The work, day to day

Track parcels, reissue waybills and arrange redelivery at the counter.
Log complaints and pass them to the store or branch manager.
Process returns, exchanges and credit notes under the Consumer Protection Act.
Update customer details and file signed forms for audit.
Upsell contract upgrades, accessories or cover when it fits the customer.

You'll need

Presentable and approachable with all kinds of customers
Accurate with cash and paperwork
Matric (Grade 12) certificate
Retail or customer service experience of at least a year
You can stay polite with a long queue watching
