Customer Service Clerk (Courier Depot) – Fixed-Term

You'll help walk-in customers at a mall cellular store in Prospecton, face to face, all day. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

Home base is a mall cellular store on the Prospecton side of KwaZulu-Natal. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

• Log complaints and pass them to the store or branch manager.
• Greet customers, find out what they need and manage the queue ticket system.
• Book repairs and warranty claims and give customers a reference number.
• Update customer details and file signed forms for audit.
• Take payments, balance your till and bank cash at close.
• Process returns, exchanges and credit notes under the Consumer Protection Act.

• Retail or customer service experience of at least a year
• Retail hours, including Saturdays, Sundays and month-end
• Good on a computer and point-of-sale system
• Presentable and approachable with all kinds of customers
• You can stay polite with a long queue watching

• Speaking the main local language of your area
• A Customer Service NQF certificate

• Dress as if you already work the counter when you drop off a CV or go for the interview.
• Mention any till, cash-up or POS work on your CV; it shows you can be trusted with money.
