Customer Service Consultant (Cellular Store) – Experienced

Customers bring their problems to your counter at a furniture retail branch in Pietermaritzburg, and leave with answers. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

This post is Pietermaritzburg-based, with most of your time spent at a furniture retail branch. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Upsell contract upgrades, accessories or cover when it fits the customer.
• Update customer details and file signed forms for audit.
• Take payments, balance your till and bank cash at close.
• Call customers when repairs or orders are ready to collect.
• Process returns, exchanges and credit notes under the Consumer Protection Act.
• Greet customers, find out what they need and manage the queue ticket system.

• Retail hours, including Saturdays, Sundays and month-end
• Accurate with cash and paperwork
• Presentable and approachable with all kinds of customers
