Customer Service Consultant (Cellular Store)

This courier depot counter in Prospecton needs someone friendly who can fix account problems while the queue moves. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

You'll be based at a courier depot counter in Prospecton. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Upsell contract upgrades, accessories or cover when it fits the customer.
• Process returns, exchanges and credit notes under the Consumer Protection Act.
• Book repairs and warranty claims and give customers a reference number.
• Take payments, balance your till and bank cash at close.
• Log complaints and pass them to the store or branch manager.
• Do SIM swaps and RICA registrations with proper ID checks.
• Greet customers, find out what they need and manage the queue ticket system.

• Retail hours, including Saturdays, Sundays and month-end
• Good on a computer and point-of-sale system
• Accurate with cash and paperwork
• You can stay polite with a long queue watching
• Retail or customer service experience of at least a year
• Matric (Grade 12) certificate

• Medical scheme or insurance product knowledge
• Speaking the main local language of your area
• A Customer Service NQF certificate
