Job Description

If you like people and hate long queues, this insurance branch in Rosslyn suits you. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

Home base is an insurance branch on the Rosslyn side of Gauteng. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

What you'll actually do

Book repairs and warranty claims and give customers a reference number.
Log complaints and pass them to the store or branch manager.
Upsell contract upgrades, accessories or cover when it fits the customer.
Track parcels, reissue waybills and arrange redelivery at the counter.
Greet customers, find out what they need and manage the queue ticket system.
Take payments, balance your till and bank cash at close.

Must-haves

Retail or customer service experience of at least a year
Matric (Grade 12) certificate
You can stay polite with a long queue watching
Presentable and approachable with all kinds of customers
Good on a computer and point-of-sale system

Helpful, not essential

A Customer Service NQF certificate
Medical scheme or insurance product knowledge
