Cyber Security Analyst (SOC, Shifts) – Immediate Start

An internet service provider in Alberton needs infrastructure that just works, and someone to make it so. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

Location: Alberton, Gauteng. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

• Document network diagrams and change records
• Build and maintain virtual machines on Hyper-V, VMware or Azure
• Run and test backups, and do regular restore drills
• Troubleshoot load-shedding related outages and UPS failures
• Work with ISPs on link faults and fibre installs

• Scripting in PowerShell, Bash or Python
• Degree or diploma in IT, plus relevant certifications
• Solid TCP/IP, routing, switching and firewall knowledge
• Strong Windows Server, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 skills, or Linux for Linux posts
• Clear change management and documentation habits

• CCNA, Fortinet NSE or MikroTik certification
• Experience with SIEM tools such as Microsoft Sentinel or Wazuh
• Azure Administrator (AZ-104) or AWS Solutions Architect Associate
