Cyber Security Analyst (SOC, Shifts)

A data centre in eMalahleni needs infrastructure that just works, and someone to make it so. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

You'll be based at a data centre in eMalahleni. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Plan hardware refreshes and licence renewals with a budget
• Apply monthly patches to servers and network devices
• Run and test backups, and do regular restore drills
• Configure switches, VLANs, VPNs and firewall rules
• Document network diagrams and change records

• Strong Windows Server, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 skills, or Linux for Linux posts
• Willing to do standby and after-hours maintenance
• Solid TCP/IP, routing, switching and firewall knowledge
• At least 3 years in systems, network or cloud administration
• Degree or diploma in IT, plus relevant certifications
• Scripting in PowerShell, Bash or Python

• Experience with SIEM tools such as Microsoft Sentinel or Wazuh
• CCNA, Fortinet NSE or MikroTik certification
