Job Description

You'll turn messy data into reports managers actually use, for a healthcare administrator in Ermelo. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

Home base is a healthcare administrator on the Ermelo side of Mpumalanga. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

What you'll actually do

Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and data models
Automate weekly reports that used to take hours in Excel
Meet business users to turn their questions into report requirements
Build simple forecasting and segmentation models in Python or R
Build ETL pipelines in SSIS, Azure Data Factory or Python
Mask or remove personal information in data sets under POPIA

You'll need

Strong SQL, including joins, window functions and CTEs
Hands-on Power BI, Tableau or a similar tool
Able to explain what the numbers mean, not just show them
Careful with sensitive customer data

Extra points for

Industry knowledge in retail, insurance or credit
Experience with Databricks, Snowflake or Fabric
Python with pandas for data wrangling
