Job Description

A call centre campus in Montague Gardens needs a calm tech who can help frustrated users get back to work. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

This post is Montague Gardens-based, with most of your time spent at a call centre campus.

What you'll actually do

Visit branches or sites to fix issues that need hands on the machine
Escalate network and server faults to second or third line with good notes
Troubleshoot Outlook, Teams and OneDrive problems for users
Log, prioritise and update tickets on the service desk system
Connect users remotely with a remote support tool to fix issues
Replace faulty hardware and log warranty claims with suppliers

You'll need

Matric plus an IT qualification, such as CompTIA A+ or an IT diploma
Patient and friendly with non-technical users
At least 1 year of help desk or desktop support (not needed for intern posts)
Working knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 and Microsoft 365
Basic networking: IP addresses, DNS, DHCP and Wi-Fi

Extra points for

Experience supporting point-of-sale or medical devices
CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft MD-102 certification
