Job Description

Plant work suits people who watch the numbers and react fast. The iron ore beneficiation plant near Rustenburg needs you. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

Home base is an iron ore beneficiation plant on the Rustenburg side of North West. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

What your day looks like

Start up, run and shut down crushers, screens and conveyors in sequence
Check pumps, cyclones and thickeners on the plant walk
Adjust reagent dosing and air flow to hit recovery targets
Clean spillage and keep walkways free of hazards
Call maintenance for bearing noise, belt damage or leaks
Clear blocked chutes safely under isolation

You'll need

MQA minerals processing certificate at NQF 2 or higher
Basic computer skills for SCADA screens and logs
Comfortable around noise, dust and heights while wearing full PPE
At least 1 year operating a processing plant

Helpful, not essential

Control room experience
Laboratory or sampling experience
N4 to N6 or a diploma in Extraction Metallurgy
