Driver's Assistant (Parcel Routes) – Experienced

Strong back, sharp eyes on the load sheet: that is what a furniture retailer warehouse in Randburg wants. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

You'll report in Randburg. Relocation is not covered for this one. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Stack returns and empties neatly for the next count
• Check goods received against the delivery note and flag shorts
• Assemble or place furniture where the customer asks
• Sweep the bay and clear shrink-wrap after each loading
• Load trucks from the load sheet in drop order, last stop first
• Strap and secure loads so nothing shifts in transit

• Honest; you will be handling customer goods and cash-on-delivery slips
• Grade 9 or higher and able to read a delivery note
• Willing to travel on routes that return late
• Friendly with customers at the door
• No criminal record
• Comfortable starting from 04:00 or working late loading shifts

• Past work as a driver's assistant
• Basic furniture assembly skills

• Route-completion incentives in busy months
