Job Description

Every wall and slab on this school building project in Pretoria East needs labourers, and the crew needs one more. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

The work is in Pretoria East, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day.

What you'll actually do

Help offload deliveries of steel, timber and pipes
Cut and lay paving bricks along string lines
Compact soil and layer bedding sand with a plate compactor
Mix concrete and mortar by hand or with a small mixer
Clear rubble and load it into skips

What you need

A clean record is preferred for some government sites
Willing to start early, often at 06:30
Physically strong and fit for outdoor work in all weather
You take safety rules seriously and wear full PPE
Grade 8 or higher

Extra points for

Living near the site (many projects hire local labour)
Previous site work you can show with a reference
Some experience with a jackhammer, grinder or plate compactor

On offer
