Employee Relations Advisor (Unionised Site)

You'll handle the full HR cycle for an open-cast mine in Pretoria East, from hiring to hearings. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

Home base is an open-cast mine on the Pretoria East side of Gauteng.

• Coordinate training and submit SETA grant claims on time.
• Handle grievances with notes, dates and a clear written outcome.
• Run onboarding, contracts and probation reviews for new staff.
• Advise line managers on the Labour Relations Act and the BCEA.
• Compile the Employment Equity report and the Workplace Skills Plan.
• Run exit interviews and report turnover each quarter.

• Solid working knowledge of the LRA, BCEA and EEA
• A degree or diploma in HR management, labour relations or industrial psychology
• Confident facilitating hard conversations with managers and unions
• At least 3 years as an HR officer or generalist
• Good report writing and Excel

• SABPP registration
• Experience on a unionised site or in a bargaining council sector
