Job Description

Tickets come in all day at this corporate head office in Prospecton, and you close them. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

This post is Prospecton-based, with most of your time spent at a corporate head office. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

What you'll actually do

Reset passwords and unlock accounts in Active Directory and Entra ID
Write short how-to guides for common user problems
Keep the asset register up to date when equipment moves
Log, prioritise and update tickets on the service desk system
Troubleshoot Outlook, Teams and OneDrive problems for users
Install and configure printers, scanners and docking stations

What you need

At least 1 year of help desk or desktop support (not needed for intern posts)
Patient and friendly with non-technical users
Matric plus an IT qualification, such as CompTIA A+ or an IT diploma
Basic networking: IP addresses, DNS, DHCP and Wi-Fi
Working knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 and Microsoft 365
Code B driver's licence and own car for field posts

Helpful, not essential

ITIL Foundation
Experience with Intune or SCCM for device management
Experience supporting point-of-sale or medical devices
