Estate Security Supervisor

You'll run a shift of officers at a hospital complex in Randburg, keeping posts covered and standards high. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

The site is in Randburg; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

• Plan the monthly roster to stay within legal working hours
• Meet the client weekly on security concerns
• Check that PSIRA registrations of staff on site are current
• Run on-site training on procedures and emergency drills
• Investigate incidents and write reports for the client
• Handle discipline issues fairly and keep written records

• Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites
• Available after hours for emergencies
• Confident writer of incident reports and rosters
• Matric, with a security management course a plus

• Mining or hospital security experience
• Own reliable vehicle

• Company vehicle or car allowance on area roles
• Provident fund and funeral cover
• Management training for growth to operations manager
