Estate Security Supervisor – Experienced

A security company in Springs wants a firm, fair supervisor for its retail portfolio. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

Home base is a retail portfolio on the Springs side of Gauteng. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

• Run on-site training on procedures and emergency drills
• Investigate incidents and write reports for the client
• Post officers when the shift changes over and cover no-shows
• Check that PSIRA registrations of staff on site are current
• Meet the client weekly on security concerns

• Available after hours for emergencies
• PSIRA Grade B (Grade A for area manager posts)
• Firm with staff but fair and consistent
• Matric, with a security management course a plus

• Labour relations or basic supervision course
• Handgun competency for armed supervisor posts

• Company vehicle or car allowance on area roles
• Provident fund and funeral cover
• Cellphone allowance
• Management training for growth to operations manager

• If you have been upgraded through the grades, show the progression. It proves you grew on the job.
• Say how many officers you supervised and on which sites. The number matters more than the title.
