Event Security Steward (Stadium)

The gate at an industrial park in Centurion is the first line of safety, and you would be standing at it. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

You'll be based at an industrial park in Centurion. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

• Search vehicles and bags leaving the site when company policy requires it
• Write every incident and shift change in the occurrence book (OB)
• Open and close boom gates for residents, deliveries and contractors
• Check visitors' IDs and capture them on the visitor app or in the gate register
• Hand out and collect contractor access cards

• PSIRA registration at Grade C or higher, paid up to date
• Grade 10 minimum; matric preferred
• Clear, neat handwriting for the OB and registers
• Alert, polite and firm with the public
• Clean criminal record

• Previous experience at a similar site type
• First-aid Level 1 certificate

• Chance to be upgraded to Grade B with training
• Uniform, boots and winter jacket issued
