Event Security Steward (Stadium)

The gate at a private school campus in Germiston is the first line of safety, and you would be standing at it. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

You'll report in Germiston. Relocation is not covered for this one. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

• Test the panic button and radio when you come on duty
• Patrol the perimeter on a set route and scan checkpoint tags
• Keep the guardhouse clean and the OB up to date for the relieving officer
• Write every incident and shift change in the occurrence book (OB)
• Search vehicles and bags leaving the site when company policy requires it
• Direct traffic and parking during school drop-off or big events
• Call the armed response or SAPS number from the call list when needed

• Speaks and writes basic English
• Able to work 12-hour day and night shifts, including weekends
• Grade 10 minimum; matric preferred
• PSIRA registration at Grade C or higher, paid up to date
• Clean criminal record

• Firefighting or evacuation training
• Experience on estate access apps or biometric readers
• Previous experience at a similar site type

• Chance to be upgraded to Grade B with training
• Stable long-term site contracts
• Paid night-shift allowance under the security sector rules
• Uniform, boots and winter jacket issued
