Event Security Steward (Stadium)

Steady 12-hour shifts at a construction yard in Kempton Park for PSIRA-registered officers. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

Location: Kempton Park, Gauteng. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

• Patrol the perimeter on a set route and scan checkpoint tags
• Check visitors' IDs and capture them on the visitor app or in the gate register
• Keep the guardhouse clean and the OB up to date for the relieving officer
• Hand out and collect contractor access cards
• Search vehicles and bags leaving the site when company policy requires it
• Open and close boom gates for residents, deliveries and contractors
• Call the armed response or SAPS number from the call list when needed

• Physically fit for foot patrols
• Clear, neat handwriting for the OB and registers
• Alert, polite and firm with the public
• Clean criminal record
• PSIRA registration at Grade C or higher, paid up to date
• Speaks and writes basic English

• Provident fund contributions
• Paid night-shift allowance under the security sector rules
