Job Description

Step up from guarding into supervising on a retail portfolio in Pretoria West. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

Location: Pretoria West, Gauteng. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

What your day looks like

Do surprise night visits to check posts
Plan the monthly roster to stay within legal working hours
Investigate incidents and write reports for the client
Handle discipline issues fairly and keep written records
Order and issue uniform, radios and torches
Post officers when the shift changes over and cover no-shows

You'll need

Firm with staff but fair and consistent
Confident writer of incident reports and rosters
Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites
Available after hours for emergencies

Nice if you have

Mining or hospital security experience
Labour relations or basic supervision course
