Event Security Steward (Stadium) – Immediate Start

You'll control who comes in and out of a construction yard in Richards Bay, and log every visitor properly. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

The site is in Richards Bay; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Test the panic button and radio when you come on duty
• Check visitors' IDs and capture them on the visitor app or in the gate register
• Open and close boom gates for residents, deliveries and contractors
• Watch for loitering, broken fencing and open doors during night patrols
• Call the armed response or SAPS number from the call list when needed

• Speaks and writes basic English
• Physically fit for foot patrols
• Alert, polite and firm with the public
• Grade 10 minimum; matric preferred
• Clean criminal record
• Clear, neat handwriting for the OB and registers

• Firefighting or evacuation training
• First-aid Level 1 certificate
• Experience on estate access apps or biometric readers

• Chance to be upgraded to Grade B with training
• Stable long-term site contracts
• Provident fund contributions
• Uniform, boots and winter jacket issued
