Factory Hand (Bottling Plant)

You'll keep the line running at a plastic moulding plant in Mossel Bay, feeding, checking and packing product all shift. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

Home base is a plastic moulding plant on the Mossel Bay side of Western Cape.

• Stop the line with the emergency stop if anything jams or looks unsafe
• Wear hairnets, beard covers and gloves in food-safe zones
• Record batch codes and counts on the hourly production sheet
• Move full bins and crates to the next station with a trolley
• Hand over at shift change with notes on rejects and stoppages
• Help the machine operator clear jams and reload hoppers

• Medically fit; some food plants ask for a medical check
• You follow hygiene rules without being reminded
• Neat, reliable and on time for shift start
• Able to stand for a full shift in a noisy, warm area
• Grade 10 minimum, matric an advantage

• Experience assisting on a packaging or filling machine
• Previous work in a food or FMCG factory

• Free PPE, overalls and hairnets

• Company transport on some night shifts

• Mention that you can work rotating shifts right at the top. It is the first thing most factories filter on.
• Name the products you worked on before, like "biscuit line" or "juice bottling". Factory recruiters read that faster than a job title.
