Field Sales Rep (Informal Trade & Spaza)

Out on the road for a hardware and paint supplier in Mamelodi, your car is your office and the store floor is your pitch. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

You'll be based at a hardware and paint supplier in Mamelodi. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

• Send your manager a daily report with volumes against target.
• Log kilometres and fuel slips for the monthly claim.
• Check shelf prices against the promo list and fix wrong tickets.
• Visit 8 to 15 outlets a day on a planned call cycle.
• Track competitor pricing and new products in your area.
• Collect cash or EFT proof on van sales and bank daily.

• Matric
• Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners
• 1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience
• You can work to daily and monthly volume targets

• A sales or marketing certificate
• Existing relationships with independent retailers

• Cellphone and data allowance
• Branded uniform and safety boots
• Monthly commission on volume and new accounts
