Job Description

Out on the road for a pet food manufacturer in Somerset West, your car is your office and the store floor is your pitch. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

The site is in Somerset West; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

What your day looks like

Take orders from store managers and spaza owners on the sales app.
Run in-store tastings and demos on month-end weekends.
Log kilometres and fuel slips for the monthly claim.
Handle returns and credit claims for damaged stock.
Collect cash or EFT proof on van sales and bank daily.

You'll need

You can work to daily and monthly volume targets
A valid Code 08 (Code B) driver's licence, for rep roles
Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves
Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners
You know the townships, suburbs and main roads of your area
Matric

Helpful, not essential

Existing relationships with independent retailers
Speaking two or more local languages
