FMCG Sales Representative (Route Sales)

This pet food manufacturer needs a rep in Bellville who knows the shops, the owners and the numbers. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

Home base is a pet food manufacturer on the Bellville side of Western Cape. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

• Handle returns and credit claims for damaged stock.
• Take orders from store managers and spaza owners on the sales app.
• Collect cash or EFT proof on van sales and bank daily.
• Visit 8 to 15 outlets a day on a planned call cycle.
• Set up promotional displays and check planogram compliance with photos.

• Matric
• You know the townships, suburbs and main roads of your area
• Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners
• A valid Code 08 (Code B) driver's licence, for rep roles
• You can work to daily and monthly volume targets
• 1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience

• Speaking two or more local languages
• A sales or marketing certificate

• Product samples and staff pricing
• Branded uniform and safety boots
• Cellphone and data allowance
• Company vehicle or car allowance plus petrol card

• Recruiters check your licence first, so attach a clear certified copy and note any clean driving record.
• Bring numbers: cases sold per month, new outlets opened or growth percentages on your route.
