Job Description

Steady 12-hour shifts at a gated residential estate in Pinetown for PSIRA-registered officers. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

You'll be based at a gated residential estate in Pinetown. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

What your day looks like

Watch for loitering, broken fencing and open doors during night patrols
Hand out and collect contractor access cards
Direct traffic and parking during school drop-off or big events
Call the armed response or SAPS number from the call list when needed
Patrol the perimeter on a set route and scan checkpoint tags

What you need

Clean criminal record
PSIRA registration at Grade C or higher, paid up to date
Alert, polite and firm with the public
Able to work 12-hour day and night shifts, including weekends

Helpful, not essential

First-aid Level 1 certificate
Previous experience at a similar site type
A Code 8 licence for vehicle patrols
