Gate Security Officer (Residential Estate)

Steady 12-hour shifts at an office tower in Worcester for PSIRA-registered officers. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

The site is in Worcester; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying.

• Direct traffic and parking during school drop-off or big events
• Keep the guardhouse clean and the OB up to date for the relieving officer
• Check visitors' IDs and capture them on the visitor app or in the gate register
• Hand out and collect contractor access cards
• Test the panic button and radio when you come on duty
• Write every incident and shift change in the occurrence book (OB)
• Watch for loitering, broken fencing and open doors during night patrols

• Grade 10 minimum; matric preferred
• Able to work 12-hour day and night shifts, including weekends
• Clean criminal record
• PSIRA registration at Grade C or higher, paid up to date
• Clear, neat handwriting for the OB and registers

• A Code 8 licence for vehicle patrols
• Firefighting or evacuation training
• Previous experience at a similar site type

• Chance to be upgraded to Grade B with training
• Paid night-shift allowance under the security sector rules
• Uniform, boots and winter jacket issued
