Grape Harvest Worker (Wine Farm) – Immediate Start

Harvest time on a berry tunnel farm near Centurion means early mornings, full crates and paid overtime. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

This post is Centurion-based, with most of your time spent at a berry tunnel farm. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Pick fruit or vegetables at the right ripeness and size, gently
• Tie up tomato and pepper plants in tunnels
• Move irrigation pipes and check drippers for blockages
• Fill crates or bins and carry them to the collection point
• Weed beds by hand or with a hoe
• Plant seedlings in rows at the spacing shown
• Prune and thin fruit trees and vines to the farm's method

• Physically fit for bending, lifting and climbing ladders
• Valid ID or work permit
• Follows farm hygiene and safety rules
• Able to work outdoors in heat, cold and rain

• Pruning experience on vines or fruit trees
• Previous harvest or picking experience
• Living on or near the farm

• Seasonal accommodation on some farms
• Piece-rate bonus on top of daily wage
• Farm transport from nearby towns
• Chance of a permanent post after good seasons

• Farms hire before the season starts, so apply four to six weeks early. Late arrivals often find the teams already full.
• If you have picked before, say which crop and how many seasons. Farms rehire experienced pickers first.
