Grape Harvest Worker (Wine Farm) – Immediate Start

Outdoor work with your hands on a vegetable farm near Upington; no experience needed for most posts. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

The site is in Upington; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying.

• Clean and store picking bags, ladders and secateurs
• Tie up tomato and pepper plants in tunnels
• Fill crates or bins and carry them to the collection point
• Plant seedlings in rows at the spacing shown
• Prune and thin fruit trees and vines to the farm's method

• Available for the full harvest season
• Physically fit for bending, lifting and climbing ladders
• Able to work outdoors in heat, cold and rain
• Valid ID or work permit
• Willing to start at sunrise

• Pruning experience on vines or fruit trees
• Tractor or quad bike experience

• Seasonal accommodation on some farms
• Chance of a permanent post after good seasons
• Piece-rate bonus on top of daily wage

• Have your bank details ready. Most farms pay into a bank account and will not start you without it.
• If you have picked before, say which crop and how many seasons. Farms rehire experienced pickers first.
