Job Description

Start in retail here: a neighbourhood supermarket in Polokwane trains packers who show up and work neat. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

This post is in Polokwane (Limpopo). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

The work, day to day

Visit several stores on a merchandising route and send photos of shelves
Pack shelves from the back, rotating older stock to the front (first in, first out)
Put up price tickets and promotion shelf strips
Face products so labels point forward and gaps are filled
Weigh, bag and price fruit and vegetables

Must-haves

Polite with customers and happy to help
Basic reading and maths for price checks
Neat appearance and punctual
Able to stand and lift cases all shift

Nice if you have

Own transport for route merchandising jobs
Being 18 or older for liquor store roles
