Job Description

An online tutoring platform in Bethlehem needs a patient tutor who can turn a failing mark into a pass. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

This post is Bethlehem-based, with most of your time spent at an online tutoring platform. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

The work, day to day

Work through past exam papers and marking memos with learners
Set practice work between sessions and check it next time
Run live video lessons with a headset, whiteboard app and stable connection
Write a short progress note for parents after each session
Log hours and sessions on the agency's booking system for payment

Must-haves

Reliable internet and a quiet place to teach for online posts
Available at least three afternoons or evenings a week
Distinction or strong pass in the subject you'll tutor
Police clearance for work with minors
Clear, patient way of explaining ideas
Own transport for home tutoring posts
