Hospital Admissions Clerk (Night Shift)

You'll keep the front of a dental practice in Fourways organised so the doctors can focus on patients. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

You'll report in Fourways. Relocation is not covered for this one. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

• Submit claims electronically and work through the rejection report daily
• Take payments, issue receipts and balance the cash-up at close
• Code consultations and procedures with ICD-10 and CCSA or NHRPL tariffs
• Keep patient records locked and share them only with written consent
• Request pre-authorisation for scans, procedures and admissions

• Experience on a practice system such as GoodX, Elixir, Medinol or Healthbridge
• Friendly on the phone and firm about outstanding accounts
• Sound knowledge of ICD-10 coding and medical aid tariff codes
• You keep patient information private, every time
• Confident with Excel and email
