Job Description

Accuracy is everything in this primary health care clinic dispensary in Centurion; one checked label at a time. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

Home base is a primary health care clinic dispensary on the Centurion side of Gauteng.

What you'll actually do

Process medical aid claims and fix rejections before the patient leaves
Log Schedule 5 and 6 items in the register as they go out
Capture scripts on the dispensing system and check them against medical aid rules
Explain dosage, storage and side effects to patients in plain language
Record cold-chain fridge temperatures twice a day

Must-haves

Friendly and clear at a busy counter
Working knowledge of a dispensing system such as Unisolv, Proscript or Healthbridge-linked software
Able to work Saturdays and some Sundays on a rotation
Accurate with numbers and careful with labels
Matric with Maths or Maths Literacy
SAPC registration as a Pharmacist's Assistant (Basic or Post-Basic)
