Housekeeper and Cook (Family Home) – Experienced

A family in Atlantis wants someone they can trust with their townhouse in a security complex and their children. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

The site is in Atlantis; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

• Get children ready for school and supervise homework in the afternoon
• Water indoor plants and feed pets
• Change bed linen and make beds
• Prepare simple meals or school lunches when asked
• Clean windows and patio doors once a week

• Neat, organised and able to work without being supervised
• Good with children and patient
• Able to speak and understand basic English
• Able to handle a full-day physical routine

• A driver's licence for school lifts
• Non-smoker

• Transport money for live-out staff
• Paid annual leave and public holidays as the law requires
• Written contract with fixed hours and duties

• Families hire on trust, so make references your strongest part. Write the employer's name, suburb, years worked and phone number for each one.
• Ask for a written contract and to be registered for UIF. Good employers expect the question and it protects you.
