Housekeeper and Cook (Family Home) – Permanent

You'll keep a large estate home in Worcester clean, calm and running smoothly for the family. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

The site is in Worcester; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

• Wash dishes and keep the kitchen tidy after meals
• Help an elderly person with meals, medication reminders and light walking
• Dust furniture, ornaments and skirting boards
• Wash, hang, iron and fold the household's laundry
• Water indoor plants and feed pets

• Willing to follow the family's house rules and routines
• Able to handle a full-day physical routine
• Able to speak and understand basic English
• Neat, organised and able to work without being supervised

• Basic first aid or child CPR course
• Non-smoker

• Registered for UIF and COIDA by the employer
• Written contract with fixed hours and duties
• Paid annual leave and public holidays as the law requires

• Families hire on trust, so make references your strongest part. Write the employer's name, suburb, years worked and phone number for each one.
• Say plainly what you can and cannot do: cooking, ironing, childcare, driving. It avoids arguments later and families like honesty.
