Job Description

Get hands-on support experience at a corporate head office in Klerksdorp, from password resets to new laptop builds. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

Location: Klerksdorp, North West. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

The work, day to day

Escalate network and server faults to second or third line with good notes
Reset passwords and unlock accounts in Active Directory and Entra ID
Replace faulty hardware and log warranty claims with suppliers
Connect users remotely with a remote support tool to fix issues
Log, prioritise and update tickets on the service desk system

You'll need

Basic networking: IP addresses, DNS, DHCP and Wi-Fi
At least 1 year of help desk or desktop support (not needed for intern posts)
Code B driver's licence and own car for field posts
Working knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 and Microsoft 365
