IT Intern (Support Desk)

You'll be the person who fixes it when laptops, printers and logins break at a group of private schools in Stellenbosch. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

You'll be based at a group of private schools in Stellenbosch. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Reset passwords and unlock accounts in Active Directory and Entra ID
• Install and configure printers, scanners and docking stations
• Keep the asset register up to date when equipment moves
• Image, set up and hand over new laptops and desktops
• Replace faulty hardware and log warranty claims with suppliers
• Write short how-to guides for common user problems

• Matric plus an IT qualification, such as CompTIA A+ or an IT diploma
• Code B driver's licence and own car for field posts
• Working knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 and Microsoft 365
• Able to log clear, complete ticket notes
• Patient and friendly with non-technical users

• CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft MD-102 certification
• Experience with Intune or SCCM for device management

• Company laptop and cellphone
• Clear path to second-line and systems roles
• Paid certification exams after probation
