Job Description

Get hands-on support experience at a call centre campus in Umhlanga, from password resets to new laptop builds. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

Home base is a call centre campus on the Umhlanga side of KwaZulu-Natal. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

What you'll actually do

Reset passwords and unlock accounts in Active Directory and Entra ID
Image, set up and hand over new laptops and desktops
Troubleshoot Outlook, Teams and OneDrive problems for users
Connect users remotely with a remote support tool to fix issues
Visit branches or sites to fix issues that need hands on the machine
Replace faulty hardware and log warranty claims with suppliers
Write short how-to guides for common user problems

You'll need

Matric plus an IT qualification, such as CompTIA A+ or an IT diploma
Able to log clear, complete ticket notes
At least 1 year of help desk or desktop support (not needed for intern posts)
Basic networking: IP addresses, DNS, DHCP and Wi-Fi

Extra points for

ITIL Foundation
CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft MD-102 certification
Experience supporting point-of-sale or medical devices
