Job Description

Tickets come in all day at this corporate head office in Harrismith, and you close them. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

This post is Harrismith-based, with most of your time spent at a corporate head office.

What your day looks like

Keep the asset register up to date when equipment moves
Replace faulty hardware and log warranty claims with suppliers
Log, prioritise and update tickets on the service desk system
Install and configure printers, scanners and docking stations
Troubleshoot Outlook, Teams and OneDrive problems for users

What you need

Patient and friendly with non-technical users
Matric plus an IT qualification, such as CompTIA A+ or an IT diploma
Code B driver's licence and own car for field posts
Working knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 and Microsoft 365
Able to log clear, complete ticket notes
Basic networking: IP addresses, DNS, DHCP and Wi-Fi
