IT Support Technician (Field Services)

You'll be the person who fixes it when laptops, printers and logins break at a group of private schools in Mamelodi. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

You'll report in Mamelodi. Relocation is not covered for this one.

• Install and configure printers, scanners and docking stations
• Escalate network and server faults to second or third line with good notes
• Log, prioritise and update tickets on the service desk system
• Visit branches or sites to fix issues that need hands on the machine
• Image, set up and hand over new laptops and desktops

• Matric plus an IT qualification, such as CompTIA A+ or an IT diploma
• At least 1 year of help desk or desktop support (not needed for intern posts)
• Working knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 and Microsoft 365
• Basic networking: IP addresses, DNS, DHCP and Wi-Fi
• Patient and friendly with non-technical users
• Code B driver's licence and own car for field posts

• Experience with Intune or SCCM for device management
• CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft MD-102 certification
• ITIL Foundation

• Paid certification exams after probation
• Travel allowance for field technicians
