Junior Software Developer (Graduate Programme) – Fixed-Term

You'll build and ship features that real users touch every day, for a bank's digital channels team in Richards Bay. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

This post is Richards Bay-based, with most of your time spent at a bank's digital channels team.

• Join daily stand-ups and sprint planning
• Deploy through a CI/CD pipeline on Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or GitLab
• Investigate production bugs using logs and monitoring dashboards
• Write, test and refactor code in your team's main language
• Pick up tickets from the sprint board and estimate the work
• Write unit and integration tests before you merge

• A computer science or IT qualification, or a portfolio that proves you can build
• You can explain technical choices to non-technical people
• Stable internet and a quiet workspace for remote days
• Solid Git habits: branches, pull requests and meaningful commit messages
• Good SQL and understanding of relational databases
