Job Description

This pet food manufacturer needs a rep in Johannesburg CBD who knows the shops, the owners and the numbers. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

The work is in Johannesburg CBD, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

What you'll actually do

Open new accounts with taverns, spazas and independent retailers.
Run in-store tastings and demos on month-end weekends.
Take orders from store managers and spaza owners on the sales app.
Track competitor pricing and new products in your area.
Visit 8 to 15 outlets a day on a planned call cycle.

Must-haves

You can work to daily and monthly volume targets
Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners
Matric
Comfortable with a smartphone sales app and WhatsApp reporting
1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience
You know the townships, suburbs and main roads of your area
