Job Description

You'll zip parcels, spares or documents around Cape Town CBD for an e-commerce delivery hub, all day, all over town. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

Location: Cape Town CBD, Western Cape. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

The work, day to day

Scan parcels on delivery and take a photo or signature
Load parcels in route order from the depot scanning area
Fill up the vehicle and keep fuel slips for the logbook
Phone customers when the address is hard to find
Keep your vehicle or bike clean and report faults

You'll need

Clean driving record and no criminal record
Polite with customers at the door
Smartphone and comfortable using delivery apps
Good sense of direction and map reading
Valid Code 8 (B) licence, or A licence for motorbike roles

Helpful, not essential

Knowledge of the city's industrial areas
Previous courier or last-mile experience
