Last-Mile Parcel Driver (E-commerce)

You'll zip parcels, spares or documents around Cape Town CBD for a motor spares shop, all day, all over town. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

You'll be based at a motor spares shop in Cape Town CBD. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Follow the delivery app for route and stop order
• Keep your vehicle or bike clean and report faults
• Phone customers when the address is hard to find
• Scan parcels on delivery and take a photo or signature
• Bank cheques, post documents and run office errands

• Polite with customers at the door
• Able to work Saturdays
• Smartphone and comfortable using delivery apps
• Good sense of direction and map reading

• PrDP for staff shuttle posts
• Knowledge of the city's industrial areas
• Your own reliable bakkie or bike for owner-driver contracts

• Per-drop incentive on busy days
• Fuel card for work trips
• Branded uniform and rain gear
• Company van, bakkie or scooter provided

• For owner-driver jobs, list your vehicle's make, year and load size. They hire the vehicle as much as the driver.
