Job Description

Housekeeping keeps a bush lodge in Rosslyn running quietly in the background. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

The site is in Rosslyn; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

What your day looks like

Inspect rooms against the checklist before release to front office.
Mix chemicals safely and store them as the MSDS sheet shows.
Wash, dry and press linen and table cloths in the laundry.
Vacuum, mop and dust rooms from top to bottom.
Hand in lost property with a written log entry.

You'll need

Weekend and public holiday work
Grade 10 or higher
You can finish around 14 rooms in a shift
Fit enough to lift mattresses and push trolleys all day

Helpful, not essential

Basic first aid certificate
Chemical handling training

On offer

Meals on duty
Staff transport from nearby townships for early shifts
Monthly award for best room scores
