Patch, monitor, back up and harden systems at an university IT department in Cape Town CBD. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

• Review security logs and investigate suspicious sign-ins

• Willing to do standby and after-hours maintenance
• Scripting in PowerShell, Bash or Python
• Degree or diploma in IT, plus relevant certifications

• Azure Administrator (AZ-104) or AWS Solutions Architect Associate
• Experience with SIEM tools such as Microsoft Sentinel or Wazuh
