Liquor Store General Assistant – Fixed-Term

Night fill, weekends or month-end rush, a wholesale cash-and-carry in Somerset West needs extra hands. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

You'll report in Somerset West. Relocation is not covered for this one. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Visit several stores on a merchandising route and send photos of shelves
• Check sell-by dates and pull expired stock for the manager
• Weigh, bag and price fruit and vegetables
• Face products so labels point forward and gaps are filled
• Build promotional displays at the ends of aisles
• Unpack deliveries in the receiving area and sort by aisle

• Polite with customers and happy to help
• Able to stand and lift cases all shift
• Basic reading and maths for price checks
• Available for weekends, month-end and public holidays

• Previous shelf packing or merchandising work
• Some till or cash-handling experience
